Welcome to the wonderful world of Maurice on the moon!
" I just finished reading "Maurice on the Moon" and immediately began reading the next installment, "Maurice and the Doomed Colony of Mars." This is an excellent piece of science fiction, aimed at children, but absolutely worth the read for adults as well.
"This is a cleanly written novel aimed at the coming-of-age youngster. It is no secret that the world is viewed differently by sub and early teens, that they are entranced by adventure writ large, but Barth has made good use of this outlook to explain and explore science and scientific concepts. Maurice's world hews closely to the rules of our universe. This is a rare strength, and if you are looking for a novel for a youngster, that teaches as it entertains, you have found it."
